Jasminum Stephanense, or Stephan Jasmine

Jasminum Stephanense, or Stephan Jasmine

It climbs virtually any surface such as walls, fences, posts, pergolas or trees by using twining stems. The vine also grows well in a container or pot where it can be allowed to climb or dangle.

During the spring and summer months, a bevy of soft pink trumpet flowers appear. The flowers attract a wide assortment of butterflies and bees to the garden.

Each of the vine’s flowers releases a delicate fragrance. When the vine is planted in full sun or partial shade and the weather is warm the smell of the flowers intensify. It is also generally stronger in the morning and evening hours.

Jasminum Stephanense can be pruned to control growth or cut all the way to the ground to rejuvenate the plant and encourage more flower production. However, pruning is not required except to remove old, dead shoots.

Jasminum Stephanense is a naturally occurring hybrid. The vine is found in the forests of China.

Plant size: 1-gallon pot
The vine is 2-3 ft at time of pickup/delivery
