Fruit tree
Sold OutLeftovers: Monday 9-10 am and 5-7 pm (May 13)
I think there may be about 30-40 trees. Royal Cortland, Spartan, Ambrosia, maybe something else, or maybe a few pears or peaches (peaches are $25 each). No Honeycrisps. Absolutely no holds of specific varieties; first come first served. You can reserve a quantity of trees.
We have given all the care to keep them fresh, stored outdoors in shade with damp roots, and the weather has been cool enough. So, most of the trees should be fine; however, there is a risk.
Questions on available varieties won’t be answered ahead of time or not in person. Please come in person, and you’ll be able to select varieties from what is available.
Plant not too deep, but cover all the roots well. Don’t delay planting, or at least temporarily plant in pots. Water deeply once-twice a week for the first growing season. More often in the first month after planting or in the hottest weeks of the summer.
Trees are about 4 ft tall. Apples need to go in pairs; if you or a neighbour doesn’t have an apple tree yet, you’ll need 2 different varieties to get fruit.
