A compact, columnar crabapple with disease-resistant foliage and large fragrant flowers in spring. An excellent choice for a hedge or as an accent tree.

Emerald Spire has a narrowly upright and columnar growth habit. It is a good choice for attracting birds to your yard.

Crabapples don’t like wet feet and do best in full sun. This form is also said to have a wide pH tolerance and to be highly tolerant of urban pollution.

Fruit is edible but a little tart (great for a pink jelly).

Comes as a potted tree with a 5-ft stem
