Stellar Pink® Japanese Dogwood
Large blush pink bracts that often cover the entire tree canopy. The colour fades to a deeper hue as the bracts age. Sterile (no berries). The flowers are larger than those of the native varieties.
Fall/winter interest: foliage changes to a reddish purple in the fall. Gray bark and antique red branches are very showy in the winter.
Resistant to anthracnose.
Relatively low maintenance tree.
Tolerates deer.
