Rose Heart Peony

Opens deep pink, then the outermost petals fade to white.

A fully double bright rose bomb shaped flower which quickly fades so that the inner part of the flower always remains deep rose shading to white on the outside petals. The effect is most beautiful and is that of a two-tone flower with a rose heart. The strong straight stems carry the flowers well.

Good cut flower with a very unusual effect.
Long vase life.
Fragrant.

Rare. Sometimes confused with Bess Bockstoce. (Bess Bockstoce peony, in turn, was often confused with Rose Heart).
