Fragrant, slender panicles to 30cm long of bright pink flowers with orange eyes, produced from mid to late summer. Arching, spreading habit.
Tolerates rabbits, clay soil.
Grow in full sun. Mulch well for the winter. In spring don’t prune until Father’s Day: butterfly bushes often pretend dead until mid-late June and then jump to life with foliage and, soon, flowers.
