One of the first peonies to bloom. Opens 4-5 weeks earlier than Sarah Bernhardt and 3 weeks earlier than coral peonies.

Abundance of bright crimson flowers. Sturdy stems, finely cut foliage.  Plant in full sun and well drained soil.
