Chicago Hardy Fig

Chicago fig stems are hardy to 10F (-12C) and the roots are hardy to -20F (-29C). The plant may still show dieback during the cold winter but will rebound in the spring.

For fruiting, grow in a large pot and bring indoors for the winter. It can be dormant in a garage or grow as a houseplant.

Excellent sweet, juicy flavour. Self-pollinating.
