Very full double flowers, fresh pink colour. Buds, sepals and flower stalks are very “mossy”. Intensive fragrance. Definitely the best of all the moss roses.
Centifolia Roses also known as The ‘Cabbage’ or ‘Provence’ roses. Said to have first appeared in the late sixteenth century as a cross between the Autumn Damask and an Alba rose.
Rosa centifolia is a rose used in perfumery and cosmetics. It is also called “Rose of May” . It is very well-known for famous brand of perfums. It used to be cultivated in the south of France, close to Grasse area.
