Black Knight Butterfly Bush (buddleia)

Gorgeous deciduous shrub with long arching branches. Spectacular summer colour from lightly fragrant, dark violet-purple flower spikes up to 10 in. (25 cm) in length.

Long-blooming: flowers from midsummer through fall, often until frost.

If a more compact size is desired, cut back in late winter. It will fill out and bloom beautifully the same year.

Butterfly bushes are ones of the last ones to leaf out in early summer.

Drought tolerant.
