Amaryllis Belladonna (1/pack) (for Spring 2021)
Amaryllis Belladonna (hippeastrum sonatini Belladonna, aka the Jersey lily, belladonna-lily, naked-lady-lily). All parts of this plant are poisonous.
Blooms appear on leafless stalks, for that reason the plant is commonly known as “naked lady”. Amaryllis sonatini lilies are also known as “surprise lily” because it pops seemingly out of nowhere.
Flowers in late summer and fall. Each stalk bears up to 12 blooms.
For a spectacular display, plant in groups of 3 or more. Southern exposure is ideal.
Plant the bulbs 6-12″ apart.
Hardiness: zone 7: −15 °C (5 °F). Lift for the winter.
Deer and rabbit resistant.
