Pendulous but with a very arching effect. Peep burgundy and maroon, deeply divided leaves, becoming crimson in autumn. Leaf colour best in partial shade, although they will tolerate full sun. Water regularly or mulch if grown in full sun.

Pruning is best kept to a minimum, but if needed should be done in late fall to mid winter. Spring or summer pruning often results in significant bleeding.
