Flowers open white, but quickly turn pale pink and then deepen to rose. This plant has a dwarf form only reaching 3-4 feet. It prefers rich, consistently moist soils. Beautiful conical flower heads and exceptional fall foliage colour.

In Zone 5 protect young plants in exposed locations with burlap and mulch. Prune after flowering as it flowers on old growth.
